ebay sellers that don't care

Just have to vent for a bit. Always had great dealings on ebay up until last month and had 4 that absolutely sucked azz. 3 of them because of the seller wanting to save themselves a few bucks by shipping the item USPS parcel post when I am willing to pay the extra for Priority shipping! Why won't they do that? Or are they so damn stupid and think that they are the chit on ebay just because they have some good used or even new stuff for cheap. Do they think that they are there for us? Why can't they get it through their little brains that there are Alaskans that are willing to pay the extra for shipping costs on goods sold to us?
First was a clutch, never saw the first one. 5 weeks later the so called "expert" ebayer sent another one and received it 3 weeks later sent the same way, parcel post. Then a set of springs, same story, 4 weeks later and nothing. Seller even went as far as to say he sent them Priority mail, the way I asked him to. And then the post office said it would take 9-11 days for it to get to me, which is what parcel post is. During this time I buy 3 other items that are actually shipped priority mail and I get them in 3-5 days. The azzhat says he is doing everything he can, what a joke, to see that I get my springs. But can't even get a tracking # to me. Yes this is in dispute.
Another is a pair of ski shocks that are supposedly 17.25" eye to eye center which would be perfect for my RMK, Fox Zero Pro's with ACT reservoirs installed, whoopee. Get them and go to install them, fawk! Too long, measure them up, 19" long! And after the seller assured me they were the right length that I asked about to clarify in his auction. He has positive feedback, maybe not for long.
I have their user id's, let me know if I should put it out there for you to stay away from. Thanks, vent out.

I sell alot of sled parts on ebay, Thats how I support the habit ;) I am more than happy to ship items how ever the buyer wants them shipped! If they dont request anything special then I ship it as fast as I can for the money they paid. I use the post office for 99% of the shipping I do, they are the fastest and cheapest way to go. If you are not getting things for "weeks" then the seller is NOT shipping them out right after payment, I know alot of people only ship once a week. So if you buy on a tuesday and they only ship out on monday, then your box sits at his house for 6 days before it ever gets shipped.

I've had good luck on shipping, if they don't use priority mail I don't buy. I don't use e-bay. I usually go to the ads on here or on D'talk. Haven't gotten burned.....yet:D

Most sellers on ebay are willing to ship Priority mail and that is not a problem for both parties. I don't bother with those that ship only once per week, when I'm expected to pay right away then I expect to receive it within a week. Snowest swap is great for the most part when there's something on there that I need, HCS works also.
But for outerwear and some other parts you can hardly beat ebay. Bought an eVent jacket for my GF for her b-day last week for $50! And it was brand new! Won, paid for, received in the mail in 4 days.

I know what you mean about don't care. I have bought hundreds of things off ebay and have never even thought of leaving negitive feeedback for the seller. Untill now. We wanted to get my son a new set of drums for X-Mas. We wanted a set that was better than what he had as far as quality and sounding. Well we knew what we wanted and after about a month of looking we found a set that was just what we were looking for and for the right price. We ended up winning the auction and paid for it through paypal. When we get the set and start looking it over we find it is not what the guy said it was. It was a lesser set in the same name brand. It was basically what he allready had. I contacted the guy and told him what was up and requested a refund. He told me no way will I get a refund he sent me just what was on the auction (a set of drums). I just can't believe someone would describe one thing and then send something that is not the same. Heck he even had pictures of the set we wanted. Now I have filed a claim through paypal for my refund. Which could take up to 20 daysto resolve. The bad part is our son don't get a new drum set for X-Mas. (He's 13)
Well thanks for the vent post! I needed it!!!

i gave up on private sellers on ebay, unless its an ebay store don't want to waste my time. very few times have i ever gotten anything from a private seller on there that actually arrived when it was supposed to. ebay needs to make a policy that the funds go into an account and until the seller can provide a valid tracking number they get nothing. i guarantee then things would get shipped on time. paying in advance is just not the way to go the way they have it set up now...
