I added a few items really easily and low cost. 2010 KTM 450 XCW with stock stator. Everything works great.
1. Cyclops 3600 Lumen LED bulb. Plug and play. $90 since I needed the $20 AC rectifier. Excellent product. Money well spent.
2. Bike Master heated grips. Spliced into AC before the headlight switch. They get much hotter than when I had them DC with only the stock stator. Won't run my battery down. $50
3. Cheap LED Bar. I don't use the DC powered turn signals on my Sicass racing dualsport harness so I cut out the blinker relay and connected the two wires together. Plug and play into the turn signal power and just use turn signal button. Adds good additional volume to the already much improved Cyclops bulb. Cheap Kawell brand from Amazon.($15) I'm sure the Cyclops lightbars are better but for $15 I had to try it.
So for $155 and still using the stock stator I have a pretty sweet set up.
C'mon snow!
