easy heated grips question......

I bought some new grips for my 06 summit 800 and was about to cut the stock ones off and noticed they look like the kind that has the heating element in the grip. I thought it would have the "wrap around the bar" type. Is this true? I bought new grips only to have cold hands?

I changed some on an 06 renegade last year and the element was in the grip. They never worked from the factory and it turned out that the element got kinked when they were installed and broke. They are pretty easy to put on.

So...... the grips are heated? Not just foil around the bar? Damn....

your right the heat is in the grip just put new grips on my 04 summit you can just cut the wires buy the wrap around foils and splice in to the old wire
