Oh no here it comes...... let me blow some steam..... come on now..... my brother and myself rode our sleds eastbound up and over government meadows, naches pass, little naches etc on to our cabin near WJL this past friday evening around 11pm. We stopped at the Olrude's warming cabin and ended up spending 20 minutes picking up others trash inside the cabin and placing it in a garbage bag hangin up by the door. The garbage bag was completely full as it was. If i had more room in my backpack or back of my sled i would have volunteered to take that trash and dispose of it properly but i didnt. We did the same thing, cleaning up the warm up hut at the top of Little Bald Mountain although that place was not as bad. Heading back westbound, we stopped back by the warming cabin at the top of Government Meadows around 6pm and found a can here and there inside the cabin but not as bad as friday night.
We all have read about the horrors of others not taking on responsibilty for thier own trash with past threads.... BUT COME ON NOW..... Lets all have a little common sense and Pack out What we Packed in.....
Whether its laying on the road, a field, by a tree or in a warming cabin, trash is an eyesore and makes us that enjoy snowmobiling look that much more TRASHIER to others. Enough Now!
