Hurricane Sandy has winds over 60 MPH plus for over 600 miles across the eye of the hurricane as of today off the coast of Florida.

An ARCTIC cold front is coming down from CANADA.

The low pressure cold front will attract Hurricane SANDY

Most likely track today is NEW York City ! Making landfall 29-31st of October

They are expected to meet up the 29th 30th around NY and hammer an area 600 miles across all the way to LAKE ONTARIO then north.

Massive flooding and many feet of snow in the Appalachians with 60plus MPH winds.

Well good for those east coasters, but that doesn't do a lot for us west coasters/ Alaskans.:face-icon-small-sad I mean the snow, not the flooding. but you all knew that.

where's clooney

Maybe Clooney can get out there and film the sequel and actually sink a boat in real life.

I am actually a bit of a weather junky myself, and this storm has intrigued me as well. If it all comes together there should be some impressive storm totals. Every now and then we get the pineapple express from Hawaii that collides with a cold front from Canada, the last time it happened where I live was in 2004 and the ski area 15 minutes from town got 71 inches in 24 hours. And it was pure fluff. I would love to see another one of those days!

I go by Hollywood and Vine all the time.

I think there has been a permanent military heli pad installed here for Clooney. They are coming and going several times a week. I don't think the locals would let Clooney back into the town to launch the perfect storm.

Did you ride the bridgers after that storm? I remember it too. it was on christmas and i believe in 48hrs they got 96". They were digging the chairlifts out. Crazy!

The cold front and HURRICANE are gonna meet about the same time OVER Washington DC, New York City , and the JERSEY shores.

This has never happened before in recorded history.

Wow !

I was working in West Virginia at the time, and I didn't own a sled. Yeah, I think the storm total was something like 108 inches in 3 days. A few of my friends owned sleds, but I think there was so much snow they couldn't even get up there. Something about the Bridgers...they can get some absolutely epic dumps.
