Easiest & Best way to install handlebar grips

Putting New Grips on or OFF

If you have compressed air.. 90lbs.. use a Air Blow gun.. just get it right under the grip.. and pull trigger.. and slid the grip where you want it.. let off on Air.. you can always move it a little bit. but try to have it in the right place the first time..

Easy and the best way to Put on Grips

Blow Gun Air..

Thanks Matt

we just put a set on our m7. I wrapped a layer of black tape around the element to keep them in place and then used a little soap to lube up the grip and just rolled it on. took a little time but worked great. The black tape doesn't seem to effect the performance of the element. We also put so bar end stops on to keep the grips from trying to come off.

i second the compressed air idea. used it once, works great. put some plain old water on the bars and grips first. it will dry and not leave a residue like soap or a lubricant. the last thing you want is a grip coming off in you hand going up the mtn.

spray the inside of the grips and the handlebars with hairspray 'til they are wet looking, slide them in place and let them dry. I've done many sets like this and have never had a set slip even a little. Once the hairspray dries, it's like glue. Hope this helps.
