5-11 for Buff Pass area

Columbine snotel showing 9.6", almost 2" in last hour.
Rabbit Ears snotel showing 11.4".
Tower snotel is a POS, and not even worth looking at now.

Maybe I could ride out of Dumont lot? Just worried about wind blowing the roads clear..

Anyone see any issues with me driving in from the Grizzly Creek side and driving up the road as far as I can and unloading?

Best leave the yami at home.A turbo is the only sled we have not seen wrapped around a rock yet.Been up doing trail work on buff and ears. Still way thin. Lots off pretty plastic though....

yeah, i'll have a 2 stroke to break in then. :P

don't plan on any off road riding.

hmm calculating water to snow (snow to water) using tower value 5.3 puts tower at ~24", give or take due to settle.

checking a couple of the sites around the area shows ~4.5" of snow to each inch of snow/water content. thus, 4.5 * 5.3 = 23.85" of snow!

haha no idea if that stays consistant, but figured if using surrounding snotels, it should be a educated calculation if nothing else!

mb found a work around to broken tower snotel! hah..

Already 40* at 1000. =\

Some 15.2" snow depth readings...

Glad I got my itch scratched a lil last Saturday while their was snow.
Hey, this reminds me of MN....
Snows and cold and windy for few days, then summer the next 2 weeks. Repeat...

Blah.
