Eagle Pass Cabin

Just a note to let you know that the Eagle Valley Snowmobile Club in Sicamous is building a cabin in the Eagle Pass area.

It is located a few km's past the end of the groomed trail beside a small lake in the burn area. The crew and materials for the shell were helicoptered in on Tuesday and the guys plan to be in there for two weeks roughing it while they build!

The club may not have enough resources to get it closed in so if you want to help out with donations etc., contact Gord at info@sledsicamous.com

Eagle Pass New Cabin Pics

Here are a couple of shots of the new cabin at Eagle Pass. The guys had another few loads helicoptered in on Tuesday (Sept. 10th) and used the machine to help get the roof in place. They should be flying out early next week!

Eagle Pass Update

The guys flew out yesterday after spending 2 hard weeks in the bush building the cabin to "lock up". Thanks for all of their efforts! The interior finishing will continue at a later date when access is easier and more funds are available.

My buddy and I were up there last year when someone was talking about building a cabin. Boy... you guys don't mess around! Talk about get-r-done! Nice job to all that participated. We will be looking forward to seeing the cabin this next year. Thanks to the Eagle Valley Snowmobile Club!
