e85 mcx apex

E85 is more solevent than lubricant,...lots of cleansing action going on there, but not enuff lubrication. This would be way risky,...x2 with boost.

E85 + boost = awesome. I have a few buddies in the car world that have dynoed 800+ awhp with E85. It has a octane of around 103-107 depending on what blend you get if it's E70 that you get in the winter or E85 that you would get in the summer. It burns very cool so most guys think it's like running around 110 octane with the amount of boost and timing you can get away with using this fuel compared to race gas. But with snowmobiles there are a few problems. E85 requires about 30% more fuel so unless you have some big injectors and someone to build a proper fuel map it's not very feasible. And your gas milage will obviously go to crap. Also E85 does not like to start in cold weather. A lot of guys have had problems starting C16 in cold weather, well E85 is worse.
