E85.....anyone running it?

I know in the past Silber had a E85 option that they were running on polaris turbo setups.....anyone else running E85 in there turbo setups?

watch out for e85. The boat guys are having extreme troubles with it. It is totally there fuel systems and picking up alot of water.

E 85 is amazing, but like you said...ANY time you run alcohol its is a huge problem with water, you just canot let the stuff sit at all. It will absorbe water from everything big time ..... When we ran alky in boats and pro mod stuff you always had to get fresh fuel, drain tanks all the time,ect ect ect...powers amazing but in sled ...eeeeee PITA

Wanted to bump this up; see if anyone has started to take the dive with e85. My cars been on it all year, amazing stuff and pretty cheap! Mileage is horrible though.

Of course your mileage sucks, gallon for gallon, gasoline has like twice the energy output as compared to E85. Also, if your fuel system isn't equipped to run E85, it'll destroy it.

If you dont mind carrying plenty of extra gas the power per$$ is prettty hard to beat, can run some big boost numbers on the stuff.
