E-TEc

Will probably fit without any problems except the steering rod that either needs to have a bend in it to go around the modules or it could be reversed and put in the upward position instead of the downward position.

Would be a good motor to put in there because we wouldn't need that much of a big tank anymore... Still 30-40 horses missing for mountain use though. For trail riding : the perfect motor !

Will an E-Tec 600 motor fit in the hawk>? Explosive power with great fuel/oil economy. :cool:

It is my goal to ge a etec motor in my hawk at some time. It is hard to find an affordable donor this soon. Some sort of fuel injection is a must, should have built hawks with cat motors in em.
 
I agree it would be nice but your still ending up with just a 600. Personally I'm gonna wait for an 800 ETEC, I know they are testing one and it will only be a matter of time. Then I'll buy a wrecked one and have a big cheezy smile on my face.

I think for me in the flatlands of Michigan the 600 eTec would be the PERFECT motor. Problem is gonna be finding a wrecked one to get all the parts off of because there are so many electronic components that go along with the engine. I'm sure the steering relocation wouldn't be too difficult for TLKD to figure out.
