just thought I'd pass this on , we had situation the other day one of thr guys sled was running a little lean in mid range so he decided to change the needle position a notch , well guess what , the e-clip sprung away from him in process, [ we are doing this in a parking area at ranger creek , no extra clip along , they didn't have one there, one of the guys at bar suggested trying to make one from a pop can, one of the guys with us while looking at his beer can came up with the idea of useing the little tang that hold the tab onto the can,well some debate on weather or not to try this we decided to see how it would fit on the needle amazingly it fit on there pretty tight and after clamping it the carb with the little hold down it seemed pretty solid so the owner decided to try it, we had about 20 miles to go back to our resort , well we made it back without any problems, needless to say we put a e-clip on it first thing next morning, now I'm not recomending this but if your'e in a bind it is a option I thought ni'd pass on ,

this proves that along with the happiness that beer brings us it also makes us wiser.!no matter how bad it's going,a couple of tall,frosty ones and everything's cool!!!i believe in self medication.

LOL I never leave home without safety wire and that is what I've been known to use when I don't have spares....which I usually do. Funny thing is, I've never lost one in the hills, always is someone else!
