Put one of his kits on a 05 800HO and it worked great. My kit for the 800r worked awesome also, so I bought another for my wife's 600. His stuff for both 800s worked so I can't wait to see what his kit does for the 600 (it's stock clutching was a little worse than the 800s IMO)!
 
Amen! It worked great on the 05 800 HO. The best way I can describe it is that it feels like the throttle is connected directly to the track. Instant response.

What year 600??

I was looking into buying one for my 600 but honestly I think the stock setup is fine. Also, how much was the kit for the 600?

Comes with primary spring 3800 engagment, secondary spring, pin kit, SMT helix and service with a smile. :)

I won't be back until the 10th, I am gone saturday 1st and heading to Old Forge n.y. I am tuning at least 2 sleds for the Snowgoer shootout.
 
On my 04 REV 154, stock with boysen reeds and SLP can and ceramic stock pipe, SLP cold air intake---I gained about 5 mph on top end, never varies more than 100 rpm when climbing, gets slightly better fuel mileage (on the trail) and now runs with a bud's stock 07 144 HPS can in a deep pow drag race.

Oh, last year's deep pow, we don't have any yet:mad:

Where you previous reveal the rpms start to drift low or you go over a hump or thru a dip and the rpms hang up low 5~600 forcing you to cycle the throttle and reduce sled speed - This kit will let rpms quickly recover back to rated.
...what is fun is with slight more flyweight the engine will dip a few hundred rpms but you keep the throttle to the bar, the rpms grrrrrind back to rated and sled keeps on accelerating.

Compared to stock clutch calibration; When pinning the throttle, 2 lengths bang, leaping right off the line and keeps accelerating away up a climb to top track speed by about 5~6 lengths.
The engine rpms follows your thumbtip when playing with the throttle; backshift is incredible. Tach needle pegs 8100 and stays there.
 
I will sell it for him, it flat works, like mentioned above, it feels like the throttle is attached to the track, and backshifts are awsome, when you hit the gas you go, and its just better, its hard to describe, best money i have spent on the sled, helps makes the HP go farther. and again, the sled stays much mor consistant in the deep snow, even when hoping and landing in some deep powder during a climb.

i will have to postpone my order until further notice.. i need to go sell stuff on ebay ;)
 
i just got mine as an early x-mas present for my rt 1000... if i have a roller clutch does it need a different set-up than a stock clutch?
