Durango

I've got a buddy who lives in Durango just wondering how the riding is and if it will be worth the drive? He mentioned wolf creek pass and lizard somthing can't remember to many beerz last night any input would be great. Maybe some other places to ride that would be closer to him he said those places are about an hour away.

thanx

Ya it is worth the trip there are some badass places to ride around here. I have never been to wolf creek but the San Juans and everything up by Rico is really fun to ride.

What kind of elavation in this area?

Durango 6500
Mtns up to 12000 or so....Molas Pass 10,900....45 miles N or Durango & 5 miles S of Silverton (as the crow flies ;))
Could be dry in town, but have plenty of riding within 30 miles.

I ride wolf creek every weekend in the winter and its bad A$$. Wolf creek recieves more snow than anywhere in CO. The best part is you dont have to ride much trial to get into some really good riding if you go with someone who knows the area. Molas pass is pretty good to only been there like twice though.

Molas Pass is my favorite spot by far. 45 minutes from town, trees, chutes, bowls and best of all.... a freestyle park and snocross track. This place is sick. Thanks to Jim and Randy Lokey for all thier work up on the pass, always top notch conditions!!!!
