Duluth Hill drags - Who mopped who?

Did Owen beat BJ?

Let the excuses begin:D:D:D

No and No...

race one- testing before with YOURS trully at the helm...won an "impromptu" race with Owen...

race two- with Scott at the wheel...Owen and Scott "bumped" about 150' out and Owen took a spill...the old goat came up a little dizzy but no worse for wear...he followed that race up with a win in sport open...congrates owen...BJ

Jeff...you were??? turned a blue bird day on the hill!!

I was in a close win for Sport 1000, but BJ helped

I think he felt bad for getting in my way. I also must have helped push his sled up the hill for a better finish in smi-pro 1000.
First place is a sweet spot. Thanks for the help BJ. If I'm only going to win by a foot, I'm glad it's yours.

Owen

nice owen!

How did everyone fair against the specialty type sleds?

Did I hear rumors of some video being taken?

Was there for the hillcross but I did watch the pro open finals. I believe Mark Weisenberger is his name excuse my spelling did well in most of the finals. They did have a m1000 turbo there or maybe it was a 1200 it had a m1000 hood but that sled did well

That was my D&D 1200/Boondocker turbo, and I won Pro Open by a wide margin. I believe Mark got third in Pro Open (very good for just an 800).

I saw Glenn run that thing a couple times on Saturday...HONESTLY the first time I have seen a guy "let off the throttle early" and win in the heats....

I guess 350++ hp and a 162 track works in drag racing up hill in snow...WHO WOULDATHUNK??? LOL-BJ

FYI- that same sled placed 2nd at the Fairview shoot out...fast sled Glenn.

Sorry bout that glen I did not have my facts straight I re-edited my post. I was just going by viewing and did not have any actual results and I appologize. I did not get a good look from where I was viewing I was just going by what I saw but all the sleds went so fast so it was kind of tough. Your sled does rip though. How many pounds of boost do you run on that thing.

Didn't mean to be rude - I edited mine too, now. Running 13 lbs at spirit mt. Have been as high as 16 with that sled. Trying to sell it. Check classifieds.

Glad to see you on the forum Glenn

I got to see your win from the Moose Head window. I had to eat pizza and change diapers on the 120 racers. Your win was like a bolt of lightning. I don't think you let off for that one. Was it scary going over the top?
Who won smi-pro open?

Owen

Yes, a little scary at the end. I still let off early, but Nick Gustafson's watercraft iq with n2o made me stay into it longer than the heat races.

The IQ #7X with a 995 POO twin/twin pipes/pipe heater button/race gas the #50 Fastlane took 2 nd (I think) and SHR took third with a SHR 860R REV-BJ

Yeah, 080 Mark W. is a nice guy and has a rippin 800 mod. I've seen him here and there at many hillx events.

I was pretty impressed with the sleds running this weekend. Other than the absolutely obnoxiously loud "440" cat with the clear hood. It was certainly very quick for a 500 class sled but it rattles your freakin brain when he rides it back to his pit. There were sleds with over 2x the HP that were quieter.

Congrats!!!! Glenn, from the Boondockers crew... can't wait to see your next sled!!! Take it easy on them, let someone else think they are going to win, just for a minute...

Congrats to Boondocker, D&D, and Glenn

You work well together. Your showing at Fairview was a milestone. Who knows maybe turbo fourstrokes are not the final answer. Thanks for showing the sledding world what you're made of.

Glenn is the rider, he gets the credit. It doesnt matter how fast the sled is, without his talent it wouldnt go anywhere.
