drop brackets? wheel set-up? input...

So im putting my sled back together and came across this question: Im going with an '04 159" and it has drop brackets on it. I've read some of the threads on here before about drop brackets. Wondering if there was some more feedback on drop brackets/2 inner-wheel rear? Have heard about ski lift, easier to lay over w/o the outer wheels... but how "unmanageable" (if at all) does the sled become in the steep and vertical? Not worried so much about deep powder perf or "boondocking"...with or without brackets combined w 2 or 4 wheels? Thanks guys...

We run a 3 wheel setup on all ours. Two outside and one right in the middle. The thought of just two on the inside just doesn't feel right to me. I know lots of people do it (including the stock Cats now) but it just feels like it should break the rods in the track easier.

I don't think you can really go wrong whichever way you decide.
