Drop Bracket Question 08 MTX

Hey Guys i have seen many guys go with new drop brackets or custom make different draft brackets, my questions is what is the difference in them and what does it help does it make it stance taller or what?

O yah its finally snowing here in saskatchewan aweeeeeeeee yahhhhhhhh

thank for all the help guys

Most of the aftermarket drop brackets are a weight saver (aluminum vs. steel). I remember the stock brackets off my Apex were monsters and must have weighed 6lbs. each. The rear cross shaft location is critical and remains the same.

I run Timbersled drop brackets, mainly to match up my Timbersled skid, but yeah good weight savings there, the stock ones are overkill.

IMO CR makes the best drop brackets, light and strong. Either one CR or TS will save you about 10lbs. Beats the heck out of eating healthy to loose the lbs.

Love my Timbersled drop brackets. They are lighter and don't seem to having icing problems like the old ones did.

That is not right. The stock brackets weight 9 lbs 10 oz total...
