I've been fighting 2 winters with sheered drop brackets issues now and no partial gif was able to stop the tunnel to link as soon as the bracket gets weak. I'm now on my 2nd set of stocker and multiple repairs so I'm giving the BMP stumpbuster a try or my tunnel will be trashed.
So I'm taking bets: where will the tunnel break now with the BMP drop brackets?
first impression on the brackets build quality could be a bit improved, machining is not exactly the same on both brackets and the random holes in the plates are unnecessary. leave it blank. Nothing that will effect the use tho just cosmetical. all I want from them to hold everything together!
bmp weight: 744g
stock weight: 355g
I'll try to get better outside plates too, I brought the black pieces as "reinforcement plates" from b-power and they were a joke...way too weak and covering all the way along the boards where I didn't needed it so I just cut the back parts ahaha.
the only concern I have with the BMP bracket is they don't have a steel shim like the stock one at the back where the shaft and collar meet the aluminum.
sled is still stored but hopefully it's the last time I work on these!
