Coming from the East, spending a night in Denver before heading to Steamboat where I'll be living all winter...

Anyone have suggestions on a good area to stay, eat, drink in Denver for a night?

Get out of Denver asap and spend your time in Steamboat and the surrounding area instead.
Best I can suggest..if you can stay away from Denver, do so. Its a parasite. And its growing..endlessly.

Welcome to Coloradee! Not to sure about Denver but there are some cool places downtown to have a drink. Come up to Fort Collins nice downtown area and take hwy 14 up to the boat.

Have you found work up in Steamboat yet? I'm always looking but not much lately.

If you do want to stop in Denver, try the Diamond Cabaret & Steakhouse. They have decent steaks and the entertainment is exceptional!

Diamonds is way better than shot guns, shot guns you feel dirty when you leave there...Every man needs a good steak and great entertainment after a long days drive haha. Hockaday you gonna meet me there for a steak when I get back? haha

Yes, will be working at Steamboat Snowmobile Tours on Rabbit Ears.

I've heard good things about Fort Collins too ... if it's not out of the way I might swing up and check it out.

hockaday You know im always down for excessive beer consumption in places like these...tilted kilt looks like alot of fun...we will have to give that one a try as well haha.
