driveshaft size on an 02 summit

can someone clarify the driveshaft size on my 02 summit zx 800?? i was told that they changed shaft sizes in 02 I am trying to find a set of avid 7 tooth drivers and want to order / buy the right ones

anyone know how hard it is to press on the avid drivers can it be done with a standard 5 ton press ? or is it worth it to get a shop to do it

1.0625" is the shaft size. No they didn't change in 02. they have been the same size from yr 00-06'. the 5t press should work fine.

Thanks, when you run the extro's do you only run the 2 drivers or do you run 2 more non extro's on the outsides like stock

with extros, just 2 is what arctic kitty and doo both do stock now, po rocks the 3 intros and i dont know about yammi.

just run the 2 extros and your press will do fine did mine few years back piece of cake
