'13 SBA w/ 600 miles. I have not run the sled this year yet. Pulled the skid for preseason, new boards, shock service. Reinstalled and didn't touch the track tension from when I removed it. Started it to rotate the track to ensure alignment. Noticed a noise from underneath so I checked all the new rivets and none are hitting. Had someone turn the secondary by hand and seems to be a grinding/creaking plastic noise from the driveshaft during 1/2 a revolution of the shaft. I could not pinpoint which side. Sled is stored in a trailer for the summer. Possible the bearing had some moisture trapped in it and it rusted some? Or am I missing something even more simple? There is hardly any more effort required to turn secondary when it makes the noise compared to no noise. So nothing binding that I can tell. Anyone have some thoughts or areas to check?
