Driven shaft bent?

Has anyone ever bent a driven shaft? The shaft that goes from the secondary clutch through the brake rotor then into the top gear of the chain case. I stabbed my track a few weeks back and came to a studded stop and was wondering if I could of bent that shaft? because after replacing my rails I jacked up the rear of my sled and spun the track by hand and notices a slight wobble on my secondary clutch/shaft. When spinning the track I don't notice the brake rotor having any wobble in it. Its very hard to tell if its really bent or something with the clutch. Not sure how to tell. The key way is slight free in the key way slot of the driven shaft. (my guess is that sloppiness in the key way is the wobble but I'm unsure). Has any one else had this problem with there king cat after a sudden stop at speed?

Thanks,

It could be just the secondary being sloppy on the shaft and not sitting square as they float. Can you place a dial indicator along the shaft? You may have to take off the cover the shaft if removable? I doubt it is bent , but could twist if came to a sudden stop? Was power being heavily applied or just cruising?

I was climbing a hill about 3/4 throttle when the all the sudden the hill got steeper and I hit what I thought was all snow (full throttle for a sec.) turned out to be soild ice cause my track stabbed and tossed me over the bars. But I will try a new key way. No more the 30 to 35 mph also. Also checked the chain and it looks good. Wes
