Drive shaft, speedometer bearing question.

09 dragon 800.

When I grease the drive shaft bearing on the speedometer side it seems like the grease just comes right out the other side (in the tunnel). I'm pretty sure the sled has done this since it was new, and I haven't lost that bearing yet.

So I guess my question is, is there some sort of blow by when the bearing is full, or did I just blow the seal the first time I greased it and have been lucky it hasn't got water in it?

ALL is fine

I like to park my sled in a heated garage overnight after each trip, let the ice & snow in the bearing melt, then grease it to force the water out of the bearing

That would be ideal, but I can't always do that. I usually just leave it in my trailer for most of the winter. I generally grease everything in the fall before the season. I guess I won't worry about it then, Thanks.
