Just a reminder check them every ride we had an incident yesterday clamp slid or came loose BOOM went the drive shaft! Hope Polaris replaces all of these soon!

So what's the status of this problem and fix? I thought the clamp was their final fix??

I would suggest red lock tight and take a punch and dent the treads you will have to cut the bolts for removal but a small price to pay to keep your drive shaft together

Not sure not my sled! Buddys it is hard to say if it came loose or what just put this up as a friendly reminder! Even if installed correctly sh-t happens! Looked to me like it came loose it was on a Turbo sled a lot of torque and he is not nice to it LOL in a fun kinda way! He was going over a jump it was a small jump but when he hit it went boom! I checked mine for the first time right after he blew his mine is still tight but I will check it more often! It is one of those things out of sight out of mind kinda things!

The reason I asked is the Poo clamp has a relief in the center of the flats. When i saw that I removed my aftermarket one and filed in the same type of reliefs and reinstalled with new bolts torqued to max spec.

It just makes a better clamp IMO.
