Drive clutch needed

I want to buy a Drive clutch for my '06 900 RMK 159.
I don't know what clutch taper I have, small or large.
How do you tell?
Pull clutch off and measure the length of the crank snout?
If so - what measurements determine large or small taper?

Anyone carry these clutches in stock?

Look at the date on your old clutch.
It is on the outside cover.
If it is 05 or 06 it is a 30mm taper.
If it is 08 or 09 it is a 32mm.
I have a 30mm all set up for 900 , rebuilt and ballanced for sale.
300 plus shipping.

I did get ahold of Indy Specialties yesterday, and got a clutch ordered.

Of course, this AM I see one for sale for much less, heh (thanks anyway R.C. Rob, I should have waited).

I was able to place a cheap plastic made-in-china measuring caliper I got at Harbor Freight down behind clutch (while everything was still in chassis) and managed to measure the crank snout - at 30 mm.

Dan was on phone at the time, he felt since my sled only had 800 miles on it that it would still have the small-taper crank, and it did.

I guess if crank had been replaced it would then have the 32 mm taper clutch?
So if you upgrade to the large-taper, your clutch no longer fits?

Yes with the new 32mm crank your old 30mm clutch will not work.
when you buy a new crank from polaris it comes with a 32mm clutch and bolt, (no spring or weights). gaskets and seals are included.
