drilling weights..what size bit=1 gr

Weight off heal will raise top rpm, off tip will raise engagement. Not sure on size of bit but you will not do it with standard bit. I would practice with a old weight and masonry bit in a drill press will take a little pressure. Weigh before and after on a gram scale.

I think buying the weights would be cheaper than buying several drill bits, unless you got better bits than I got.

2 other ways-hit the side of the weight on an edge sander or belt sander or draw a line on the back w/ a sharpie and grind to the line both ways be patient and weigh often

Want to drill my 64's to 62's but need to know what size bit. Also, drill the tip or heel?

Rt

Good luck drilling, hardened steel does not like to be drilled. Grind to desired weight. You can grind the far tip or the easiest is to grind the entire side evenly. Good luck.
