Give them a bump for making a great product. Been screwing around with my TSled brake all winter. Bleed it numerous times still no Bueno on the snow. Figured it was because it was getting wet. I was right. Got the drifters products brake cover and problem solved!! Brake works great now! Such a simple fix, 35 bucks and done! Best mod yet!

I ordered an engine blanket from them and considered the brake cover but I thought it was get iced up just the same. Good to hear it works.

how about a couple pics of the brake cover? had an issue with our ts kit not braking, even with a good firm lever. for willwod stuff, I was NOT IMPRESSED, to say the least. we figured it was due the wet, ice, snow build up. Ski

Not crazy about the look of the brake cover - but it works amazing. So nice to always have brakes after years of constantly dragging the lever.

How many rides/conditions have you had it on? Has it always worked perfectly?

Snow gets in it and turns to a block of ice by the secondday of riding however I have not had it cause any issues. I'm gonna buy some more of the material and make some more panels that overlap better. It's a good product for the price though.

U sure that your ice isn't due to holes in skidplate? I covered mine with umhw and built some home-brewed side panels. Only ice forms around cs sprocket area and back of motor. If your running open tunnel kit like TS that may be the culprit.

Rode 3 days of 12-18" of powder last weekend. The brake worked the whole time. It did fill up with snow and turn into an ice block, but that didn't seem to affect the brake.

There is a giant hole in the back where the two pieces overlap, I'm sure the snow is getting the there. Might try to glue them together or drill a few holes and use zip ties to pull them together.

The ice I was referring to was around the brake caliper when i use the "brake blanket" or whatever it's called.

I've had the same results, there is a hole where the bottom flap kind of binds and doesn't come together with the top. However I've got 4 days in the white room and no brake failure.
