DREAM TRAILER: 2019 Mirage project trailer

You have lowered it and lubed up the system a time or two in those 14 years correct? If not you may want to give that a try before you need it. If it's anything like the GM one your going to have to cut the cable to get the tire out and replace the pulley system if you haven't. With all the road grim they would lock up pretty bad.
Ya, its come down when I have replaced the tires on the truck or had them rotated.

How about when you lower that tire at -30 and its full of frozen dirt and ice thats fun.

Curious what that setup retails for Christopher? How big is the fuel tank? One or two batteries?

And yes I still want first dibbs on buying this one when you get the next build.

Let me fire up my scanner and get the invoice digitized for you.

This trailer came with ONE Deep Cycle Battery.
Probably OK for the average guy.
But I would recommend getting DUAL batteries if your going on multi-day excursions with the trailer.

The fuel tank only comes in ONE size, 38 gallon.

He's talking about page one of your invoice you posted.

You only posted page 2. And if you add up the numbers on what you posted there is over 10k missing from your total price.

Understand now.
There is no page one in my document pack from Mirage.
I will contact them today to ask for it.

What size axles did they put under that rig? 15,000 GVW seems like a lot for 6(?) bolt wheels.

Page 2 looks like just the options packages listed. Page one must have the 10k base trailer price.

The data plate on the front of the frame or on the lower front corner of the trailer (usually the left side) will have the axle and load capacities for your specific trailer.

Just filled the fuel tank for the first time.

It took 39.18 gallons to FILL 100%.

Filled the furnace propane tanks as well.
Took 14.0 gallons to fill 100%

So there I was, trying to fill the propane tanks.
And for the life of me I couldn't figure out HOW to get the dang plastic cover OFF the tanks!

And then I realized the cover was SCREWED directly to the frame of the trailer.
OK, fine, whip out the nut driver and remove the offending screw.

But no, that would be way too easy, because there was a Second screw!!

And this one was a Son if a Gun to get out!

What a pain in the butt it was to get that screw out!
There was just enough room to get about 1/32nd of a rotation out of the socket for each cycle.
Took me a good 5 minutes to back that dang screw out.

Once the screws were out I realized that the hard plastic shell had really good grip on the tanks and there was NO WAY it was ever going to come lose on its own. Took a very solid tug before she came lose and lifted up off the propane tanks. Can't see any reason at all for it to be screwed in place as the tanks MUST come off the trailer to be filled?
