what was the differences between an 07 700 dragon and a 08 700 dragon
like suspension track or motor is thier and diff in the motor on a 08 700 rmk and a 08 700 dragon?

It was just plastics, and a little bit of weight savings. i don't know where from though. 08 are cooler looking though, IMO. Difference between the rmk and the dragon is just suspension,and the option of having a 163 if you wanted it.

08 an 07 should be pretty much identical, no changes were made between those years, the changes started happening in 09.

Few small changes, 08 Drag/RMKs have a different seat and tank than the 07s. The tail lights are different. 08 drag you can get the 163, RMK was just a 155 in 08. Dragons have the WE and rmks have a spring type shox ( name isn't in my head right now ) And the 08 newer have a series 5.1 track and the 07 Drag has a little different series 5 track. Oh and the 08s have a little different prefilter setup on the intake on the console.

Bubba nailed it. The tank/seat changed, colors changed, rear tail light and option for 163" track. Also, an RMK version was available (white sleds that year).

Only differences in Dragon and RMK in 08 were the Dragon graphics and WE shocks. There were a lot more differences in 09 between the RMK and Dragon.

07's did not have decompression, 2008's did

07's did not have the "ethanol 5% enrichment wires, 2008's did

How about probably one of the biggest things....

07's have a 2 ring piston

08's and newer have a single ring piston

P.S. I have an 08 and it runs great

well, technically some early build 08's had the 2 ring piston too but the majority of the 08 fleet is single ring. And yes the spindles are a little different from 07-08 and then again from 08-09 (light weight thing)

I know jkinzer posted the 2007 and 2008 spindles were the same, however I remember reading an article that stated the 2008 ski mount was relocated approx 3/4" further back, can anyone confirm this????

Yes the 07 spindles are different then the 08 spindles. The 07 Dragon spindles are the same as the 06 Fusion and Switchback spindles. The spindle design changed each year until 09 on the RMK/Dragon's.
