DPM Problems

I got a 2000 Summit 700. I rebuilt it and now it just wants to flood. I checked the floats and everything they all work fine. Thinkn its the DPM, How does a person take that off and just jet it for elevation?

What was the problem? Been having a ton of problems with 01 700 summit, runs great on idle and when you try to give it throttle it falls on its face and just dies

Ahh, when he got the sled the top end was in a couple boxes, previous owner had marked the dpm lines with tape and marker as to where they went, but plugged the atmospheric sensing line back into the DPM manifold onto an unused spigot, had us really ****ered up till he remembered he'd got a service manual with the sled and we broke that out and confirmed that the one hose just hung down open ended. Sled ran great after that.

Have you checked to see if you have a broken reed? Tried unplugging the DPM manifold? There's a whole procedure to go through to check the solenoid in the dpm manifold to make sure it's working,it's described in the race manual or service manual if you can find one on-line, try to Google it.
