I have a friend who knows how to take National Geographic TOPO files and make them basemaps that can be downloaded to a GPS. Last season, I sent him everything I collected from the many years of riding in WA and here's what he produced:

See http://gpssledmaps.com/maps/wa.php

We love picking through the trees and exploring different ways to get from point A to point B (especially in the areas around Cle Elum and Ellensburg). So whether you're new to WA or not, I think this may be useful.

Got a Magellan Trident for Christmas and have been fighting with it ever since. I just know if I ever have time to read how to use it it will probably be very useful.

Computer stupid here. Downloaded them, opened Mapsource, I can see lots of trails with track numbers, but how do i get them on a map with details so i can see where the trails are. Right now, they are tons of squigilly lines on a blank page.

NEVER MIND. DUH!!!!! Use map set "complete"
