double cover fx nytro

I'd like to get an aftermarket cover to cover my stock Yamaha Nytro cover for the summer, as covers get eaten here in the summer and my sled sits on the trailer in a sunny spot.

I'd rather sacrifice a different cover than the stocker to the UV.

As anyone with an FX Nytro cover knows, this is the goofiest cover made to date (I especially like the little "wings" that are supposed to cover the a arms and spindles).

Is anyone using an aftermarket cover that fits the FX Nytro?

Two of my sleds sit on an outside trailer as well. I bought a decent car cover that goes over both sleds with UV protection. I left the stock covers on last summer and they held up well. This year I might store the stock covers inside and just use the car covers on the sled.

Go to http://www.denniskirk.com. They carry a cover made by parts unlimited for the Nytro MTX. Part number is 560837. It sells for $94.95. If you spend $100 or more shipping is free. I'm sure you can find this cover in other places too since its put out by parts unlimited.

Seems like I now have a decision to make...I like the car cover idea, as it would cover both sleds on the trailer and cost the same as one snowmobile cover AND it's UV resistant.

Everything here gets eaten by the sun.

If you already have an un-padded cover, try putting it on inside out.
