Doo T3 scratchers on Axys

Thinking of using these on my Assault. Anyone installed these on an Axys? Looking for pics. Thanks.

Thanks for the pics...I was hoping to avoid resting the scratchers on top of my rails. Doesn't look like there's much for options as far as mounting the retainer thingy.

skidoo scratchers on axys

I put them on my pro, just drilled three holes, including the rear one for the retainer clip, they are very firm and hold up to reversing. they are far closer to the front of the hi fax so will kick more lube action up there. that's the main reason I got them. I was gonna get another set for my axys if the cross over easily enough.

Does anyone think drilling a hole for the retainer clip where the arrow is would cause any issues?

I did not want to risk it that is why i just tucked mine inside the rail. A little touchup paint at the end of the season and it will be good to go

Hence my dilemma....I'm torn. LOL

I think there's enough material there that one small hole won't compromise the integrity of the rail.....but....

I have the retainer clip installed on mine. No problem doing it.

An update on the Ski Doo scratchers. I broke one last Saturday. I had them down all day and it was gone when I got back to the truck. Of course, you have to buy a whole set including the mounting hardware to get a replacement. I did notice that my other one had a lot of wear so I replaced it too since I had to buy a set. It was worn down nearly .5" from the new ones that I bought. I did run them last year on my 13 Pro but I can't imagine that I was in that much abrasive material that they would wear down that much. Maybe they wear down even when they are dragging in ice and snow. I would have put my Polaris ones that came on the sled back on it but I sold them earlier in the season. My bad.
