Been watching the weather like a hawk... its been a weird year and I've been expecting weird things to happen...
Over the past 3 months I've watched the snowpack disappear in Park City.. basically nothing left, were riding mt bikes on a good portion of the high elevation trails already. But, with that said, in the past 2 weeks I've seen the snowpack actually increase in a few places in the state, yup, were gaining snow. All this rain in the valley has been significant mt snow in the right spots.
Went out today for a good 3 hour rip. Conditions are better then mid march, however there is very limited terrain to ride, you gotta get high!
The snowline is funky, below about 10k there is basically nothing to ride, but above... pow!
