Don't forget the McCall FUN RUN, lots of prizes

It is suppose to snow some fresh stuff for the weekend so come on out on Saturday and win some of the great prizes we have. The last I heard, it was over $7,000 again this year. We are also having a "find the beacon" and win it game and a short talk by Todd Wernex from IDPR about avalanche safety just before prize drawings start.

Location is Bear Creek Lodge, just 4 miles west of McCall across from the West Face parking lot and please park in the WF parking lot.

Registration is nine to noon on the 5th and prize drawings start at 3:30.

There will be two rides lengths available for your choice on freshly groomed trails up Red Ridge.

First Place prize is $500, second is $250 and third is $100 and lots and lots of snowmobiling type awards available to choose from and to put your tickets in their respective buckets. You can buy extra tickets to increase your odds too.

Entry fee is $10 for the ride and $5 for the find the beacon game.

Remember, this benefits the local high school scholarships and the McCall food bank.

The "winter carnival" is in full sessions too, come on out and see the ice sculptures.

Another McCall Snowmobile Club fun run is in the books! Super well organized fun run and it looked to me like the masses were having an absolute blast. I talked with at least four groups getting their very first sled experience. While not a big deal for some of us it was for them! This is the stuff that keeps the ball rolling!

Thanks to all of the hard working club volunteers that made this event happen! Great day with beautiful weather and buttery smooth trails. There was a lot of family snowmobile fun going on Saturday. Tons of cool prizes and a pretty impressive cash handout as well.

Special thanks to the folks at BEAR CREEK LODGE for hosting this event. I cannot say enough about this facility! This is an ideal property for large snowmobile related events because it offers everything. Multiple trail access to incredible riding for all levels and types. THE BEST PARKING SITUATION IN MCCALL. Food, drink, fun, and most importantly warm friendly snowmobile advocating ownership. Please if you read this and happen upon McCall for any reason local or not. It was a great day, nice weather fo sho. I agree that this facility is a great place to hang out and stage from.

We lost a water pump belt on top, ended up towing my father-in-law back to the parking lot. What a great time it is blasting your father-in-law with snow for 20 miles...laughed so hard I had to pull over once.
