Don't Cancel HBO just yet....

Just watched "Taking Chance", the true story of a Marine escort that delivered the remains of Lance Corporal Chance Phelps to his family in Wyoming, after he was killed in action in Iraq. Very Moving. Let's just say that I do not wish to watch it again.

Tivo's recording it right now. Looks like good flick, I ill watch it tonight.

So....Tivo....hmmm...does that give you a non-propitiatory file that I can view on my computer? If so, could I get it from you?? :D

quite the movie. really hits you at the end when they are showing the pictures and you realize it's a true story about a real person ya know.

was that actually shot in dubois?

Gone Sleddin'; was that actually shot in dubois?[/QUOTE said:
Most of the movie was shot in Montana, I think around Ennis. I did notice that in the Billings airport scene that the place has grown one hell of a mountain range around it since the last time I was there.

havent even got to see previews or anything for it, looks like i better find a tv to catch it on sounds pretty good. like it when people show what sacrifices and love our soldiers have for our country

To all those who are serving, have served or have family in the military - Thank you for graciously volunteering to defend this country and the freedom you all provide.

I agree, great movie tastefully done and gives me a little hope for this country.

Most of what's on HBO, that has any political undercurrent or attachment to it in the least, is so twisted and liberal that it makes you want to puke but this was a good one.

Straight up story and left the politics out of it.

It has just started on HBO a few minutes ago again
