Don't buy a Sno Park Permit from Sportland Mini Mart in Cle Elum!

Just a heads up, stopped in there to get a sno park pass. All they had was NON motorized passes. Wife bought that one and I took it back in and told them it was the wrong one. I was told in no uncertain terms that was the correct one. Asked for a refund and was told it was not possible!
Stopped back on my way down from riding to try to exchange it again and was told to contact the Forest Service, it is not their responsibility and sorry, too bad!
BTW they don't even have motorized SNo Park passes there.

He said he took it back in originally.

He said he took it back in originally. Don't be a d ck. he said from beginning went back in and they said they didn't have what he needed.

yeah so i was wondering why. can they just push some buttons and hand back cash cuz these types of returns happen all the time at the mini-mart? or maybe its a little more complicated and the manager needs to handle it because they are just a middle-man...
dont be a 206er

No offence but how is it you don't have a snow park permit when you registered your sleds you get one per registration?
Kittitas County didn't send a pass with mine, either. I had to get that sorted myself. If you go to the wet side I've found Snoqualmie Credit Union does a great job with registering anything.

Drama. Its to bad about yur misfortune but you had to know by posting this you were gonna get different responses. I had to go through Olympia to get another pass for the rv.

Registering online will sometimes get you snubbed on the snopark permit. Interesting that this year I went to 2 different locations to register and got 2 per registration. Send me your address and I'll mail you one. Also I can say Sportland has been extremely helpful ( well thoughtful) for me this past week on a different situation.

Figured it would get some responses but not bashing Sportland in general, just retarded that a shop on the mainline to Sno machine areas next to a sled dealer would only sell ski passes.
Plus was in a hurry to get to the hill, not d!ck around with Sno park permits so just attached a note to it explaining the incompetence of the mini mart. 3 days no ticket at Salmon La Sac so it must have worked! Haha
I don't have any of my machines current in WA because I'm still an AK resident and they all have valid AK tags is why I didint have a Sno park permit already.
Not ready to give WA a few grand in taxes on used machines or I'd tag them here.
For those upset about me skirting the system I'll just drop some $ by Clem's for grooming when I'm by there.

BTW the Last Resort sells Sno park permits too but didn't see them listed online as a vendor initially.
