Troy center-punched a tree on Sunday, April 13th and is currently in critical condition in the ICU at Saint Alphonsus hospital in Boise. He broke C1,2,3 & 4 in his neck. He is very lucky to be alive and even more so to still have movement in his hands and feet. It will be a very long and expensive next couple of years for him and his family. He works his butt off as a heavy equipment operator for a local demolition outfit so that he can afford to ride with friends and his boys. It is unknown when (or if) he will be able to return to work.

Since the accident I have done all I can to help with prayers, taking food to his family and trying to help them through this. Many of you have sent prayers and well wishes and myself and the family can't thank you enough.

I have set up an account in his name at Wells Fargo to try to help his family with what is going to be some very tough times. If you are so inclined, you can donate at any Wells Fargo branch or there is a PayPal account set up for him. The e-mail address for that account is baileylocke@q.com.

I am proud to be a part of the snowmobile community and Snowest family that has helped many folks in the past. Please, if you can spare anything to help a fellow rider in need myself, Troy and his family would greatly appriciate your help.

If anybody has any questions please feel free to call me at 208-860-1393 or you can PM me here.

Again, thanks to all that have had Troy and his family in their thoughts and prayers!

Best Wishes to Troy and his Family

Thanks for your efforts in behalf of your friend. I will start the ball rolling with $100 to your paypal when it is setup PLUS the following deal.

THE NEXT SNOWEST CUSTOMER THAT ORDERS A SET OF BETTER BOARDS WILL RECEIVE THEIR BOARDS AND THE TOTAL REVENUE FROM THAT ORDER WILL BE DONATED TO TROY AND HIS FAMILY IN YOUR NAME. You can get something cool and help out someone in need.

If nobody is interested in that deal I'll sell some at Anthony Lakes Hillclimb Saturday with the same deal.

Troy is doing pretty well. Still on the vent but lucid enough that he doesn't want anyone in the room. :) He is a tough guy and I hope that soon his body decides it doesn't need help to breath. I've got a few good jokes I'd like to tell him.

PayPal...they tell me that the account will be "reveiwed" in the next 24 hours and we should be set up. The problem seems to be that the account that was set up in his name was set up as a donation account that no funds would extracted from except by him. PayPal seems to have issues with that. I'll get it set up but I seem to be at their mercy right now. You can still donate at any Wells Fargo branch. The account # is 7319201351. The name on the account is Troy Rose Donation.

Keep up with the thoughts and prayers!

Does he have some type of disability program???That is what i am on right now...As soon as I get back to work I will send some $$$$ I know what that feels like:(:(

Hey John any luck getting that paypal deal up and going? We have $240 for Troy and his family waiting to transfer.

Thanks to SnoWest Member "Beefspot" for his order of Gen II Better Boards that he wanted designated to Troy's fund.

I'm remote until Tues but will get the funds transferred when you get the paypal account rolling. Rob

First off, thanks to everyone for keeping Troy and his family in their thought and prayers. He is able to get up and walk and is off of the IVs! Great news!

I have been out of town and had no internet access since last week. PayPal has been a HUGE PIA because of the way the Wells Fargo Account was set up. I went in today and set up another account so that it can be used with PayPal. Here is where we are now....

Please look for the two deposit amounts, each between $0.01 USD and $0.99 USD, when you receive your bank statement. You may also call your bank's customer service center approximately 3-5 business days after PayPal sent the funds and ask for the deposits made into your account by PayPal.

I WILL get this going and much appriciate everyones patience and willingness to help!

Mike, heck of a deal. I almost wish I had an Edge! Thanks!

Troy is doing great! Looks like he may get out even sooner than expected. I think they are tired of him chasing the nurses around. :face-icon-small-win He is tough but it is going to be a long recovery for him. Please keep him in your thoughts & prayers.

PayPal info has been added to first post. Thanks to those who have come through with watever they could! Even with the best insurance (his is good but not great, no disability insurance) this kind of time in the hospital and not working can zap funds in a hurry.

I hope everyone has a great, safe weekend!

Troy is doing well. He is now out of the hospital and at home. Thanks to all that have given what they could even if it was just a thought or prayer!

F-Bomb, This is Troy, I just wanted to say thank you very much for the donation you sent to me and my family, especially the prayers. If I wasn't a believer before I definitely couldn't argue the fact that all of the prayers that were sent out are the reason I stand here today two weeks later "standing"on my own! No doubt in my mind prayer works! Thank you deeply from me as well as all of my family your kindness is greatly appreciated.

Nytro, Troy here just wanted to give you a shout out and say thanks for your support. After John told me about Snowest and I logged on for the first time and read all of the posts from everyone I was moved to tears (in a manly kind of way)! This has been the best medicine besides my soon to be wife and kids a man could have. Thanks Troy and family.

My friends at Snowest

Sorry if I have left anyone out I'm all tuckered out and seem to be slipping in and out of a dream state that is patiently waiting for my return. So if I have left anyone out please know I'm not finished yet. My exhaustion gets the best of me still. Having said that have a wonderful evening and remember to always thank him! Good times and bad.
