Donaldson Filters vs. WIX Filters on Amsoil.com

Can any one tell me what the differences are on these? (besides 1/2 the price for the WIX)

To see what I am talking about-

AMS OIL WEBSITE

Year: 2003
CHEVROLET TRUCKS
SILVERADO 2500 HD PICKUP
6.6L 8-cyl Engine code 1 Turbo Diesel

Looking for oil, fuel, and trans filter

Thanks,

Packer

Amsoil filters are long life filters, Wix are rated for 3,000 miles for a gas engine type. You take the price of your Wix filter at Napa times 8 and then compare it to the price of the Amsoil/Donaldson filters.

The Amsoil/Donaldson filters are a NANO-Media filter, better filtration, lasts longer. Definitely worth the extra money. Wix is a proven filter but they won't last as long.

The new Amsoil Absolute Efficiency filters are the way to go. They were developed by Amsoil and Donaldson. Donaldson has similar technology but the Amsoil stuff is the next generation.

This should help:
