Does this bother anyone else?

Ok so i love to cruise the Craigslist classified's to look at sleds! I narrow my search in the RV section with putting "Snowmobile" in the search box to weed out all the other rv's which used to pull up on average about 100-200 ads but since Larson powersports started avertising i have to Weed thru hundreds of non snowmobiles because they put snowmobile in their keywords for everything! I dont want to look at 300 ads for Quads when im looking for snowmobiles kinda turns me off to even thinking of Larson's with that kind of advertising. If its not snowmobile related dont put snowmobile in your keywords! Just sayin!:face-icon-small-fro

Am i the only one who this pisses off?

I agree! When looking for a sled, car, RV, what ever. I usually select "by owner" only. Most of the dealer stuff is overpriced junk anyway.

It use to upset me but then thought as long as what ever dealer advertizes on the dealer site who cares.. Any body placing a private ad who doesn't use the private well,, they will have a harder time getting a look. To add, look under motorcycles as well and don't just punch in snowmobile, shop brand specific also.. How I found the sled I bought was just looking in the motorcycle section not under snowmobile or arctic cat and found an almost new 08 M1000 at a good price..

Hey guys,
Holy crap, that bugs the hell out of me, they are taking up pages and pages. Just go to the top and select (by owner) and that weeds out all the larsons powersports adds. before I realized I could do that I was pissed.

Pissed

Nope quit looking at seattle adds just because sick of looking at the name larson in every add for every day. Pissed. And loved to garage sale for parts on CL. Not anymore.

Unfortunately this is the least of Larson's problems but yes it drives me crazy. If they would spend more money on hiring a salesman, parts person or mechanic that knew anything about Arctic Cats they would be a lot better off.

I agree so much in fact if i was even going to purchase something that i kniw larsons sells i would go anywhere to get it but but larsons.

I agree with the Larson ads, They need to give it a rest..I will never shop there thats for sure!:face-icon-small-fro

Just to give them a break they went with someone that was suppose to run adds for them and didn't, then they opened their doors in oct with a nice line up and some of the new sleds they had to go over to wyoming and a few more states just to pick up someones snowchecked models and while maybe 1 person on sales staff doesn't know arctic cats talk to the knolable person Dan (except on mondays) as he rides arctic cats and belongs to snowjammers also , they did pick up a good service rep and 3 mechanics that seem knolegable also, right now they are doing about a 2 day turn around on sleds. i don't have any afiliation with them but will voice my concern to Dan about this issue (i saw it also) .
I did however score the first 2013 xm summit x black with 154 because of their add and because of Dan also being very good with all models and years he was selling but all the reviews off snowest and looking at the 2013 agaist the 2012 models there were enough to convince me, and i was impressed enough to let their mech's check it out (slight track clicking) while installing lefty throttle and heated visor plug in (didn't want to void warenty) besides all you arctic cat fans where else ya going to buy parts around here lol.:face-icon-small-hap
I could also have bought a polaris there and been real sad by now with a broken machine but still smiling every time i fire up that new xm without elect start . snow (powder) just keeps getting deeper here in western wash , oh ya i also scored the last powder package there for the xm the other day and so far just installed the front grill piece but when covered with powder just makes that sled look like it's smiling while blasting thru more and more powder, there that is the other side to the story please correct me if i am wrong, i also have bought some vans and trucks thru their group years ago also and good experiance with that.
Might add 1 more little note their finance guy Jeff is also a sled rider/bike with kit rider . so guess i said enough for now hey who knows maybe they will even give me a big discount on stuff now. lol:face-icon-small-hap:face-icon-small-hap:face-icon-small-hap.

Arctic cat parts

You have a good point on the arctic cat parts but you gotta be kidding me anything i need i can get from free agent( michelle) at a discount over larson, she has parts on hand, ships them out same day, its much better than dealing with larson. Hell i dont think they even have any arctic cat parts in stock at larson every part i asked for they said they need to order it. They definately dont have much in parts for arctic cats from what i have seen. I hope they get their sh!t together we do need more dealers locally.

Why have local dealers???? You can get all your parts from free agent cheaper. You said so yourself. Number one reason dealers don't stick anything, everybody buys online, so why would they fill their shelfs with 100,000.00 of parts just to have people not buy them. That's I why found a dealer who I think does a good job and buy as much as can from them. The funny thing is I've some new friends and get a discount from them, not to mention they have everything I need most of the time because they sell more parts over the counter.

Their ads piss me off. You have to only search title or you get their key word BS. I have reported them as spammers each time I log on and see their low life ad style.

Holy run-on sentence(s) Batman!!:face-icon-small-win

In all seriousness I think Larson will be around for a long time and will be a dealer to be reckoned with. I almost bought my sled from them as they were within a couple of hundred what I got from a dealer I have purchased 7-8 sleds from(figure that one out). I was impessed with how aggressive they got on pricing right out of the gate.

Ah just a few more comments, hey they have been in busniess since only oct when other dealers have been closing their doors, and ya all my other sleds except (2) were purchased off of craigs list , and out of 5 sleds only 1 new one, and ya i purchase online when i can also.

It's totally annoying. I'm a frequent craigs browser and this view irritates me enough to never go to Larsons. One or two tasteful ads, ok, but listing your entire inventory, every other day, overkill!

I've seen the same type of deal, but when browsing for trucks....

Punch in F-350 and see how many times a few of the dealers post the same truck in a single day... sometimes I'll see the same exact truck posted 6 times in 2 days, and then multiply that by any given number of trucks across 3 or 4 dealers. Makes it hard when you don't want to eliminate the dealer section from your search. I've since stopped looking because a couple dealers just ruined it. They even post the same thing not just in Seattle Craigslist, but in Yakima and Spokane too... totally spammed the site into uselessness.:(

on our craigs list I go to "For Sale owner" and then search for "snowmobile" that way you pick up the snowmobile for sale in RV, Motorcycle, and Sporting good and anywhere eles they might be... no dealer sales..
