Does the skinz cover work good on a pro?

I need to get my wife a good cover. our polaris cover only made it4 hours on a 8 hour drive. I was told to look at the skinz cover.

Any feedback on them on a 155 pro.

thanks
tim

I've got one on a pro 155 and so far only thing is just like the instructions
say "you have to strech it first time u use it" and it does not have a
fuel flap.:face-icon-small-coo

the BEST cover available is a sno-skinz cover. not to be confused with a skinz protective gear cover. the skinz protective gear cover comes with a warning about leaving it out in the sun, getting road salts on it etc....

there are NO such warnings with the sno-skinz. i have linked below. take a close look at the warranty. i have had several of these and they are VERY well made and heavy duty.

I have also had a sno-skinz cover and the quality is better than any oem cover, and they are easy to put on. The extra soft cover they give keeps the sled looking new.

Im kinda interested in an aftermarket one myself. Everyone said the dragon oem cover would work good on my pro, so i took a chance. 12 hours of it trailered and the cover started chewing up the decals and paint. It did seem to fit it nice and snug, but it still wind whipped quite a bit.

I've had the Skinz Protective Gear (SPG) Cover on my sled for multiple seasons... The cover has been great... no paint damage or other problems.

If I leave it out in the sun for long stretches I use a supplemental tarp over it....Same with my Sno-Skinz or factory covers... NONE of them hold up to the sun very well.. And I like to keep my expensive covers looking good (wink)

On ALL 2012's with ANY brand cover... you need to put protective foam tube over the running board edges before you put the cover on or you will chew it up on the new running board grips...

The hardest part of the SPG cover is organizing Arnold Schwarzeneggers calendar so that he can come and put it on the first time.......

I actually own both and would give the nod to the Sno-skinz cover as it does have a gas flap and is very well made. OTOH The big positive about the stretchy Skinz cover is that it truly IS universal so if you change sleds often, get it. It also covers everything, including skis, so if you're real anal about keeping your sled clean, consider that one. Both have their merits and I wouldn't bother with any of the other brands out there - those two are head and shoulders above the rest!

Have FUN!

I'm probably going to get crap for this but my XP cover that Doo makes fits awesome on the Pro. I used it last year on my 11 and use it this year on my 12. It covers the seat and plastics and not the tunnel but that's no biggie for me.

Nope, no crap here. I came over from the Doo camp (as those from Dootalk can attest) and there isn't really the brand-blind bashing here as you'd see over in their camp. I was pleasantly surprised by this. Welcome to the dark side!

Have FUN!

Don't have to worry about someone stealing your sled this way either.
