does the m10 need any changes out of the box

i have been trying to read all the post pertaining to the m10 and the parts that are on it. What i am curious is for the first trip out west is there anything that i need to do? or can i just ride it for the first trip and then maybe do a couple of things when i get back. I am willing to do whatever it takes to have a blast and not have any trouble!!!!!!!!!! coming from a trouble free King Cat and maybe i will just throw that in the trailer just in case the M10 cant keep up

what year and model/ I saw in another post its a 09 le.

Side vent for sure/ vent anywhere help on these sleds
shift assist in secondary
slp can
works flawless. but its just a start

I would remove the snow flap and mount the tail light to the rear of the tunnel, the snow flap doesn't do you any good and is a bit(h when stuck. Skis will improve the ride to

set up your rear skid with very little pre load in front skid shock and 140-155 psi in rear skid shock. getting them revalved helps a bunch.

Get a steering arm for an 09 or 10 HCR which is way stronger than stock and it costs $30. Its the one that connects to the post and runs along side of the motor. I bent my stock one and I didnt even hit anything, just was sidhilling and my skis went straight and my handlebars were pinned to the right then I rolled all the way down the hill. :face-icon-small-fro
