Does snowest have issues with basic members?

Why is it that I have to continually log in now on these forums? I can be switching back and forth from thread to thread and have to log in again and again cause I keep getting kicked off I guess. I realize that I am only a basic member and maybe that’s it? I never had this problem before they switched to a pay site. I guess that’s how they treat us trolls. Does anyone else encounter this problem?

I having some of the same problems with my 8 year old laptop, while my new on is being worked on.

As long as you have the 'remember me' checked I think it shouldn't do that.

Using Internet Explorer with "Remember Me" checked, when I open a new tab sometimes it opens with out being logged in, if I hit refresh it will log me in.

I use Google Chrome on my new one.

FireFox crashes my old one, but no problems with the web site.

So, I'm stuck using IE.

Further regarding cookies - if you have your browser set to clear history and cookies when it closes, that will also give you the problem you're currently having.

That is certainly a possibility.
Though each time you log in, vBulletin sets the cookie showing you are logged in.
