Does my turbo impeller have a casting defect?

Here are a couple pictures of my turbo impeller. I've rotated the impeller slightly in between pictures.

1) Is that a casting defect?

2) If it is, should I care?

No that is not a defect. That is where material has been removed from the turbine wheel to balance the turbine side of the turbo.
