I have seen a slp used before on a BD kit pump gas kit on a 2009 D8 and that sled ran another buddy who had the same BD PG kit with on a 08 D8 with the stock pipe and they were matched on every test so no visual difference could be measured.
I believe both pipes produce the same amount of pressure and in that situation the pipe doesn't matter it is just the air volume or pressure spinning up the turbo.
