DOES ANYONE HERE OWN A 2011 600 RMK?

No kidding, I haven't seen a single post on the 2011 600s. Are rental companies including them in their fleets this year?

The Pro just stole all the attention apparently!

I saw one last weekend. Besides the color, can't say it looked any different than my '10, besides the fact it was still stock.

Yes, I bought one for my wife this year. 2011 600 rmk 144. Even put ES on it for her. I've ridden it a few times and what an amazing sled it is. She loves it!!!

bear lodge resort in the big horn mountains, Wyoming has some in there new rental fleet i seen today

i don have a 11 but got a 10. sure enjoy it. think my son wants to take it from me now. dont see or hear much about the 600's. would like to more.

Bought a 2011 600 RMK last Friday for my future wife. Rode it Saturday and Sunday at Seeley. She loves it. Just curious, why are you asking? I was going to wait for a Pro-RMK 600 but noticed that there really isn't much wind protection on the Pro. I am super happy with my sled but I also don't sit down much. The IQ is much better at wind protection so bit the bullet and grabbed the 2011.

I putted around on it a little bit and it seemed pretty snappy for a 6 but then I jumped back on the Pro 8 and really didn't want to ride the 6 again. Karen loves it compared to the 2005 Trail-RMK she was riding....and if momma's happy, everybody's happy.

I don't think they have changed much from 2007.
I've got a couple and they are very good sleds.
Our only complaint has been their front end tippy and wanting to dive downhill.
Anyone else have this issue?
What have you done to correct it?
We added some rebuildable Ryde FX shocks this year and thought maybe that would help.
The front end shocks are the 05/06 RMK 900 models with the gold 100 lb springs.
Really like the Ryde FX shocks in the rear skid. Made a nice improvement compared to the $10 disposable shocks that came on it.

Yes I do,

It is a 144, stock except for a taller riser bar and clutch/exhaust venting kit.

Great solid sled with one exception:

When on the trail, (according to the dealer) it detonates around 7000rpm @ 2000'. Works great in the powder and playing, but on the trail to and from the playground it can act funny at lower elevations. Yes I know it is a RMK and it is designed for the fluff and boondocking, but sometimes one uses the trails to get to the play areas.

My description to the dealer of the problem that I have to live with that can not be fixed is that when you are backing off the throttle whether going straight or turning on the trail, there is a little hickup and you momentarily loose 3-400 RPM around 7000 rpm, you slide into the handle bars and then you get most of your rpm's back, but it seems a little sluggish until you cycle through the throttle range to full off to full on..... frustrating:face-icon-small-fro

Throw somemore weight into the primary clutch and your hiccups will disappear and the motor will pull stronger. Put some 10-62 in and you're golden at home and in the BC mountains.

Poleman.... Do you notice any different power character between the 2 injector 2009 and the 4 injector 2011??

I own a 09 RMK 600 Shift (CFI2) and my brother has the 2010 600RMK, there is a difference on power. The CFI2 version is better at low range through mid range but the 4 valve takes over on the top end. You can tell if has a little more horse on the top end. I think both are great engines. The biggest thing I notice is the oil usage. The 2version is a lot better on oil. I like that feature good sled for my son.

Thanks for the heads up guys...good to hear from peeps that own both.

If I hadn't checked the parts manual I wouldn't have known the 2011 went back to 4 injectors.

That plus the CFi-2 shares the same charging/regulator system as the 2011 800's... The CFi-4 uses the older charging/regulator system (same as the 700/800 cfi's)

Sooo, since they share the same electrical system, could we expect "issues" with the 6's going forward??? Currently own a '10 800 with LOTS of gremlins, very interested in the Pro 6!!!
