Reason why we do routine inspections at my shop. Adapt clutch was installed in Jan 2022 after a Team crack was discovered. Found yesterday this crack. 2019 Alpha.
It's a really good reason to go over your clutch as this could have been really bad out coming.
As soon as I took the cover off the bushing fell out, and the crack was all the way around the cover, just had not made it through the thickness of the cover.
Dissembling the clutch everything else was in good shape
This was part number 0746-933 New one coming is Part Number 0746-965. Don't know what the difference is.

Anyone have a clue ???
I was tempted to toss on a aftermarket cover after inspecting the clutch, but for a little more than $110.00 I went for new. Probably about 1500 miles on the adapt.
I don't like tossing on a cover and have to spend the extra $$ to have the clutch rebalanced. (This has always been a topic but never a conclusion )
It was cheaper to buy an new clutch, then have to drive 300 miles to the nearest dealer for the recall and get a new clutch ( yes mine are within the recall numbers)
