(A) The number of gun owners in the U.S. is 80,000,000. (Yes, that's 80 million)
(B) The number of accidental gun deaths per year, all age groups, is
1,500.

So, statistically, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more dangerous
than gun owners.

one good friend of mine, from good ol' rural country wa, has spent 7 years becoming a DR. now granted he still owns a gun, but I swear to god they erased all common sense from his head. he flat out acts like he is from seattle now......he fights it, but its true. perhaps it is just the time spent listening to professors with a twig and berries, yet wearing a skirt that corrupts their common sense.....I dunno, but it amazes me more and more each day.

Your missing 2 vital stats, number of procedures performed by doctors in a year, and the number of times those 80 mil guns are fired in a year (or amount of ammo sold..something to quantify how many people actually use there guns)

I bet there are alot more medical procedures done then guns fired on a yearly basis. Your theory assumes that every physician only does 1 procedure a year. Lets say, for whatever reason they do 5 a day.. That's 700,000 x 5 x 365 That is 1,277,500,000 operations.. so, 120,000 out of 1.3 Billion..doesn't seem so insane
