DOC SAYS I HAVE SPRAINED MINERIAL MINUSCUS! effin hurts!!

my friggin knee has been killing me for about a week now. especially when i
am sitting and have it bent.. went to the doc, he says minerial miniscis sprain. funny thing is, now the other one is staring to hurt. i feel like an old man...
 
ya I know the feeling, I hurt my knee on a quad a month ago, I was able to walk but until I quit limping my other knee started hurting, now it mainly just hurts real bad when I squat down. could be the same thing but I haven't gone to the doctor
 
as my bud says "pour some beer on it".. ive been trying! doesnt seem to help!
better heal up quick, something tells me ill be doing alot more sledding this season... :D

Well that's cause you aren't pouring beer on it....that Miller Lite is one step removed from my piss after a night of drinking. If it's just a sprained meniscus give it ice and elevationa nd then heat after 48 hours....try and stay off it and it will heal up.
 
I hear ya bud, I tore the one in my left knee twice, two different spots in the same summer, and never went to the doctor till it scar'd over the tissue. (I hate going to the doctor untill there is an abundance of fluid/bone coming out)

My issue is when I m inactive the scar tissue builds a ridge, and hurts like the dikkens. The more I use it and work it out the better, but ya, stay off it and nurse that baby, you can't do anything with bum knees.

doc gave me some anti inflammatories a few days ago.. havent picked up at the pharmacy yet..

anyway, i put heat on it a few nights in a row. then, i had someone tell me to use ice so, i tried that last night.. it hurts the worst to keep my leg bent.. straight is no problem.
