The dobeck will go through a warmup,gauge sweep, when first started. As soon as it starts hit the center button once to get into the green mode,green light flashing and move the needle to get the best idle,right or left buttons. Then after warm up of the sensor the gauge will show you your afr. Mine liked to idle at about 12. I loved mine on my Kawy and bought one for my ktm, but it doesn't need it so am selling it with a extra probe for 200 bucks. The kawasaki fi seems to like the controller to clean up fueling at colder temps.
